Another Rare Dr. Ann Video

I just dug up another *rare* Dr. Ann Wigmore video for you. It's all about "how to get protein in your diet." After the Hollywood festival and the first Ann Wigmore video, people have been practically begging me to post more Dr. Ann videos and information (and for good reason). She's the one who started the whole raw food movement almost 30 years ago! You can see the video here. Just click the play button and it'll start playing right away.

DR. ANN WIGMORE HOME STUDY PROGRAM VER. 2.0 UPDATE After 4 years and thousands of courses sold all across the world, the new *updated* version is getting closer to being released to the public. I've been swamped lately getting the new materials, books, audio's, videos, and DVD's ready for the launch later this month.

We're only running a *limited quantity* so if you're interested in getting one of the limited releases, please sign up on the priority notification list here:

http://www.chidiet.com/notify

In the meantime, I'd love to hear your feedback about the video:

1. First, I'd love to know what you thought of the video and your plans on getting protein in your diet - please share your thoughts on the blog.

2. Second, I'm giving some thought to doing this on a biweekly or weekly basis. So if you'd like to see more interviews, videos, ebooks with different speakers or authors who "get it" just let me know...

Here's the video:

P.S. Thanks for all the comments from last video. I really appreciate it.
Also, Lulu Belle (my dog) says "woof!" That means "thanks" in dog talk. :)

Feedback - Sheryl from Natural Health

Sheryl from Natural Health, says

It is interesting that skim milk has been passed off as a health food for so long. Almost 100% of the population believes in skim and pasteurized products. It is such a shame.

Arthur Collins - Feedback

Arthur Collins - Feedback
Home study partners in NE Area

Hello and thank you for the post.

Wonderful timing. We shall be starting a group just outside of Nashua NH in May, with the newly revised Home Study Program.

I am currently in N. India working with the Tibetan Community and planning to start a Raw Food clinic in Dharmsala, and wow what happenings going on there now! I am sure it will be good timing to offer some help there.

I met Dr. Ann when she was traveling to India many years ago, and what a great thrill to starting her program both in NH and possibly N. India as well.

Right now, I am looking to meet up with some folks, would like to go through the Home Study together and perhaps order some bulk products and supplies.

I will be staying just outside of Nashua with a wonderful friend..and we will be building a grow room and starting a Garden pretty much from scratch so a great time and place to start from the bottom up!

Happy St Patty's Day
Arthur

Thank you for the feedback!

Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Mantle Cell Lymphoma

Jim, I wish you could have seen the tears in Lamoy's eyes when I gave her the $100 check from the lady who wrote a letter saying that this was to be used to help her "start her business". Wonderful people donating to help this worthy family. I am all out of organic cherry seeds to send but all I can do is keep praying that people want to share what they have and donate to her before April 15th when they will get a tax writeoff.

As for the lymphoma, wheatgrass juice does work miracles. But, it's not what we add to our diets, it's what we consistently refuse to take into our bodies: salted processed cholesterol and oils of any type. No olive oils, no flax seed oil (just soak the flax seeds or grow them into plants), no animal foods of any type and make sure that the food is liquified (juiced or blended) in order not to stress the body. Don't put any lotions or oils on the surface of the skin because that just adds to the problem. A little avocado and natural oils from soaked nuts and seeds will supply, along with the dark green leafy greens and sea vegetables, everything that is needed in the way of essential fatty acids.

Peace and love be with you

A happy hello!

I am sorry I don't send many mails right now.  We are in the middle of moving...and are sitting between two continents for a few weeks ;). Thanks for hanging in there! I will write more about raw foods, wild edibles & much more as often as I can in between. :)

But now I want to announce another wild edible walk! I am excited to do another wild edible class north of Dallas! I am grateful to have this opportunity again. It is so important and I truly hope as many people as possible  learn about nature¹s super foods as it changes one¹s view of nature, our mother which we have to protect and get really close to. It will change your awareness! And isn't that what it's all about: our conscious awareness! What we are aware we realize it's there! We are surrounded by wonders...and just have to open up for them to really see and appreciate them...Learn to eat for FREE right from nature’s abundance!

Join us on April 27, 2008
2 - 4 pm or 4 - 6 pm

If you want to read more about it or register please click here:
www.wildedibles.wordpress.com. I created this website to inform you more about wild edibles...so, stay tuned...more will be added soon. Please forward this information to all your friends!

Please spread the word it is important for all of us! We need to get a deeper connection to the plants that are there to nourish us instead of the industry!

GA - Anidawehi Plantation Raw Food Spa

Anidawehi Plantation - The New Raw Food Spa

We are so excited to bring to your attention the launching of a new raw food spa, the Anidawehi Plantation. While most all detoxing and healing spas and retreats build dependency, (you have to come back again and again), our program at Anidawehi creates empowerment, as we are equipping you with the knowledge to take control of your health and wellness, and to continue to improve and progress on your own.

In the rest of this email, we will attache the information about, and the press release. As we were in the process of  creating this program, we were not able to teach as many classes and seminars, and we neglected Atlanta in particular. Please stay in touch, as we will soon announce our seminar program for 2008.  Please forward the information about Anidawehi to your interested friends, and relatives. Finally, there is a program that really going to change people's lives.

Peace and love,

Georgia's First Holistic Spa Focused on Sustaining a Healthy Lifestyle Opens in Appalachian Foothills  Eco-friendly Anidawehi Plantation to Educate, Inspire Optimal Wellness Naturally,  Honoring the Cherokee Belief in Self-Healing DAHLONEGA, Ga.- March 25, 2008 - Forrest Hills Resort  Conference Center, one of the country's top 100 privately-owned resorts, is celebrating its 30th anniversary by opening Georgia's first holistic healing spa destination: Anidawehi Plantation. Set within 140 acres of wilderness near Dahlonega, Ga., less than two hours' drive north of Atlanta, the independent wellness center focuses on holistic healing through a number of unique programs that incorporate balanced nutrition through raw living foods, and encourage sustainability through follow-up with guests. The name, Anidewehi, is inspired from the Native American belief that individuals have it within themselves to heal and to heal others. The first program is a 14-day natural cleansing program and lifestyle coaching.  Leading Anidawehi Plantation's wellness programs is Jackie Graff, RN, BSN, a nationally recognized Raw and Living Foods chef and nutrition consultant. Other programs focus on weight management and a curriculum on healthy-aging customized to help guests meet their specific health objectives and re-align their lifestyles to be healthier. The Rest and Rejuvenation program provides surroundings, inclusive of medical consultations and life coaching, to enable guests to recover from catastrophic life events, including loss of loved ones, surgery, chemotherapy, or other significant life events. Broccoli Better than Sunblock

Broccoli Better than Sunblock
from – Acres U. S. A.
January 2008 issue
Vol. 38, No.1

A team of Johns Hopkins scientists found a chemical compound in broccoli sprouts, sulfurophane, that can disrupt the cancer – causing effect of ultraviolet Light.

According to Professor Paul Talalay, sulfurophane does not absorb UV light to prevent skin entry, but instead works inside cells by boosting production of a network of protective enzymes that defend cells by boosting production against UV damage.

External application of sprout extracts increased protective enzymes in the skin two to four times.  In addition, its effect lasts for several days.

The report was published in the October 23 Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
