Jim,
I'm not sure if you have read of the reason why I got my doctorate in Nutrition and my Naturopathic Physician's license, and that was to publish for Dr. Wigmore, because I felt that it was that important that people read what her life and mission was all about.
With my teaching certificate, and having taught at Loyola in Baltimore to teachers getting their Ph.D.s in Education, that should have been enough, but I felt it wasn't. In Santa Fe, NM, working around a naturopath that I admired greatly, who is the President of the International Society of Naturopaths, I learned of the International University, originating in Europe, with chapters in Washington, DC and Los Altos, CA.
I contacted Dr. Roy Oliver there in CA and got my degrees from the International University there. After 9/11, I understand, many small colleges and local branches of distant universities bit the dust, and the International U. in CA was one of them.
My son Brent and I had gone there to visit years after my graduation, and Dr. Oliver's widow was there on the campus, but everything was shut down. It is a shame, because it was the only school I could find that was totally vegan.
