Supplements Fall Short in Older Women
The Archives of Internal Medicine has a report in it that suggests that all the multivitamins you take do little, if anything, at all, to lower your Cancer risk. They followed 160,000 women between the ages of 50 and 79. Almost half of them used multivitamins for years. The results were disappointing. The same was true for other diseases.
Supplements are not truly helpful in terms of health. There are a few, but very few. Cod Liver Oil and enzyme supplements can be exceptions - if you shop carefully. But looking for your health in pills is a mistake.
Nature packages foods as they should be packaged. Boxes, bottles and cans are generally NOT where you will find Nature's best. We always recommend the raw, organic living foods lifestyle.
