2 - 14 oz cans Garbanzos (Chickpeas) or equivalent made fresh (much better!)
1/4 C Water (use water from Garbanzos or soaked Garbanzos)
1 Clove Garlic
2 T Tahini (Sesame)
2 Lemons (Juiced)
1 t Sea Salt
1/2 t Cumin (ground fine)
1/2 t Dried Red Pepper (ground fine)
Mix all ingredients in a food processor and puree.
Notes: Can be served warm or cool. Add one or more of your own spices, like cayenne, to make it more interesting.
