Asthma

Raw Living Foods Continuing Education

To fully attain the benefits of the Raw Living Foods Lifestyle means more than eating raw fruits and veggies. You need to be aware of your protein and sugar intakes and your combination of foods, for example. Our lifestyle also includes detoxing, internal and colon cleansing, the proper type and amount of exercise, supplements of wheatgrass juice, fresh sprouts and easy ways to grow your own, energy soup and green smoothies, dehydrated foods, and how to deal with your cooked food addictions.

Even when you attend one of Dr. Ann Wigmore's hands-on educational centers, it's hard to retain all of the information. It's also challenging to stay Raw in a cooked food world.

For these reasons we created the Dr. Ann Wigmore Raw Living Foods Lifestyle Home Study Program.

Complete Lifestyle Education Package

Compiled from over 30 years of teaching the Wigmore Lifestyle at Creative Health Institute in Michigan, the 15 Lessons of the Home Study Program are available as a set, or you can get one lesson at a time on the subscription plan. Visit chiDiet.com for more information (we're having a Holiday Sale this month).

If you're looking for motivation, inspiration or information to Go and Stay Raw, this is your resource!

Chlorinated swimming pools jump-start asthma

The incidence of asthma has risen by over 50 percent in developed countries in the last 25 years. As many as 150 million people worldwide suffer from asthma, and roughly 180,000 die from it each year.

Exposure to chlorine bi-products, both in air and in water, could be a factor in the rising number of cases of childhood asthma. This could mean that indoor swimming pools might be partly responsible for the rise. A new Belgian study links the prevalence of childhood asthma with the number of indoor pools: http://www.mercola.com/2006/aug/3/chlorinated_swimming_pools_jump-start_asthma.htm.

Asthma and exercise

Often thought to trigger asthma attacks, exercise actually benefits children with this condition, an overwhelming majority of studies find. In fact, researchers suggest that the decline in physical activity among US children today may be a factor in the recent rise in asthma prevalence and severity.

Healing our family diseases with raw living foods - Victoria Boutenko

Raw Foods Testimonial
by Victoria Boutenko and Family

Victoria and Igor

Raw food has changed the life of our family. Eight years ago we all became very sick. Victoria had arrhythmia and was severely depressed. Igor suffered from painful arthritis. He had surgery scheduled for his hyperthyroid. Sergei was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and was suppose to go on insulin. Valya had asthma. All these illnesses are considered incurable by medical doctors. We also had many other problems, like indigestion, obesity, lack of energy, mood swings, dental problems and others.

However, after we all went on a raw diet, all four of us got completely cured.

Today we experience radiant health and constant happiness. We believe that our health is beyond what most people experience in present day. We don’t have any medical insurance because we feel totally in charge of our health and we continually experience a high level of energy. Each one of us can run for many miles. In 1998 we hiked across the United States on the Pacific Crest Trail.

Other people may have doubts, but we know all the changes in our health started to happen when we went on raw food.
