What's a "permalink?"

When you send a friend a link to an article in the blog, it's a good idea to click on "permalink," in the bottom right corner of the article, first. Then copy and paste the address into the email you're sending.

This is good for 2 reasons.

First, it will take you to the individual article, so your friend doesn't have to scroll down through a whole category.

Second, as the blog grows I find myself expanding the categories and rearranging the weblog. Look how many recipe categories we have now.

No matter how the category of a particular article may change, the "permalink" address remains the same.

Searching this website

While the website doesn't have search capabiities yet, it's still pretty easy to find what you're looking for. Go to the appropriate category and then use your browser's Search feature. In most browsers it's Control-F. Type in the term you're looking for, and hit enter. Then click "Find - Next," as needed.

How to print only part of a webpage

If you’d just like to print out the recipes or a particular article on a webpage, you don’t need to print the entire page. Use your mouse to highlight the text that you’d like to print, then from your menu choose File->Print. When the print box comes up choose the button that says “Selection,” click OK. Many have asked; I hope this helps.
