"The Hidden Dangers of Healthy Foods” was the featured article in the August, 2003, Reader's Digest. It's on pg. 64 of the US edition. The basis of the article is that people are showing up in US hospitals with mercury poisoning. The mercury is being traced to eating large deepwater fish, especially tuna and swordfish. The Center for Disease Control says that 1 in 12 women have high mercury, which could put some 300,000 babies at risk. Yet the FDA stopped monitoring mercury levels in fish in 1998. http://rd.com
