Fasting is not just about not eating, but about de-toxing and cleansing the body through resting the digestive system. When our magnificent body is not busy digesting our daily intake of food, it has time on its hands. That time is put to use by directing energy towards flushing our system of built up refuse accumulated over the years - debris not used or wanted by our bodies.
