Ricki Burleigh

My father's first cousin was Norman Cousins, who wrote ANATOMY OF AN ILLNESS. Laughter is much of what he taught at UCLA -- one of the first to recognize and share the great message of the healing powers of joy and laughter in wellness. He told me one day (when I was diagnosed with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome) to tell everyone, "Hey! My misery subscription ran out, and I'm NOT renewing it!" That wise advise has served me well for 20 years! I offer it to anyone who would like to adopted it, as well! I LOVE the quote on laughter! Ricki, Chandler, AZ
